I recently set about creating my own set of kindle icons for use when my kindle is plugged into the mac. As most of the time our Kindles aren’t going to be plugged in to anything this icon wont be enjoyed as much as say a custom iPhone or iPod icon might, but it will be there to surprise us during our next monthly charge.
Included are icons for both mac and PC computers.

I use candybar by Panic to easily swap out my icons. It has a “Quick Drop” area that one can easily select an icon and then drag in any file or folder into it to to change out its previous icon.
There are other solutions and manual ways to change your icon, which you will have to google for.
Thanks for Downloading!
Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the files, or if you have any questions.

But what if you don’t have a newfangled magic mouse or multi-touch trackpad? Well I may have a solution for you, warranted you have a full sized keyboard. Continue reading
